The post museum in Vaduz is celebrating Apollo 11 50th lunar landing anniversary

For a long time, Liechtenstein did not have a state postal service, only a private one. However, in 1840 the first postage stamp of the principality of Liechtenstein was issued. The exhibition at Post Museum Vaduz is based on a compilation by Philately Liechtenstein. Currently, there is a special exhibition honouring the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 lunar landing, with unique space-mission themed postcards and letters and postcards sent from launch bases etc. – definitely worth a visit! 😉 The Post Museum in Vaduz is free of charge, allowing visitors an insight into this part of the history of the small country.
